Technical Brutal Death veterans Cenotaph are constantly working on new material, material that always seems to have their passion behind it. Newer bands ought to take notes from Cenotaph.
This is their fifth release and my favorite thus far. It is the most technical but actually pretty straight forward. It flows from song to song really smoothly. Listening to this is like when you think you hit the snooze button but you actually dismissed your alarm, waking up two hours later thinking, “Wow, it’s been that long?!”.
Cenotaph’s distinct talent for great songwriting partnered with their knack for thinking of even greater song and album names makes them extremely entertaining. Here are names of their albums:
